Marguerite lived in Canada, North Dakota, Minnesota and Washington States and spent at least part of her time as a dressmaker. She married again, after the death of Francis to Thomas E. Sherlock.

Marguerite died February 09, 1962 in her home at Northport, Stevens Co., Washington. She was buried at the Mountain View Cemetery in Colville, Washington.
